In Port Sunlight, there are two types of houses: kitchen and parlour. Both types have three to four bedrooms and include a kitchen, scullery, or parlour area.

Every house in town has a unique facades and different floor plans that were meticulously mapped out using data from the roads to ensure that every home has a clear view of the surrounding landscape. These architectural characteristics contribute to the town's uniqueness and picturesque. Port Sunlight was also used as a filming location for many British television series.
